The Kodak Carousel slide projector system was introduced in 1961 and became the industry standard for slide presentations throughout the 1960s-1990s. The Transvue 80 slide tray was designed to hold 80 slides in a circular rotating format, allowing for smooth automated presentations. These trays were essential accessories for photographers, educators, and business professionals during the analog photography era. Kodak Carousel slide trays are sought after by vintage photography enthusiasts, collectors of mid-century technology, and those who still maintain analog slide collections. These items appeal to nostalgia collectors and photographers who appreciate the tactile experience of analog media. The trays remain functional for anyone with vintage Carousel projectors and represent an important chapter in photographic presentation history.
